Art Bookbinding international contest

Art bookbinding international contest has been existing for more than 30 years. It clearly is the oldest international bookbinding contest. This event is a must for professionals and a challenge for binding schools and amateur bookbinders.

The 17th Biennale takes off, don’t miss the takeoff.

On line registrations for the competition is open: REGISTRATION and you will there all the information on the work, the author and the edition of Night flight of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, as well as the operation of the competition.

We decided to increase the book to bind with 9 B&W illustrations and a color frontispiece. The two illustrators are Denis Fauvel and Brigitte Loviton.

400 numbered copies of the book to bind are ready. Book numbers will be assigned in the order of arrival of orders, unless personal choice of an issue if it is still available (indicate your choice in the note box of the order form).

The return of your bound book for participation in the competition must reach us no later than May 25, 2024 in order to be presented to the Jury in June 2024.

Save the date ! The exhibition of the set of bindings that participate in the competition will take place from 18 to 22 September 2024. Come all to Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse !
